Adios '07

1.What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before? I went to the East Coast, NYC & Boston.

2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I Don't make New Year's resolutions. I think they are BS, and you should be making resolutions everyday of your life so you are continually improving.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Yes, Ross & Allison had Russell in December.

4. Did anyone close to you die? Not close to me, but close to Jenny.

5. What countries did you visit? Canada, the only country I need to go to...

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?A smaller ass.

7. What date(s) from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? Hm, weird question. None really...

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Wow, probably being recognized by my company as a Top Achiever.

9. What was your biggest failure? My numerous attempts to lose weight.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Nope. Healthy as a horse.

11. What was the best thing you bought? A Hybrid.

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration? My little sister Heather, even though my mom is a crazy bitch she put that aside and let her attend her wedding. She's got more patience than I'll ever have.

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed? Again, taking the award for the umpteenth time in a row... My mother.

14. Where did most of your money go? Alcohol, travel, car payments.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Tori Amos at the Paramount, it was my first time seeing her live, and I MET HER!

16. What song will always remind you of 2007? Shit... I'll go with "Big Wheel".

17. Compared to this time last year, are you: happier or sadder? thinner or fatter? richer or poorer?
I think I'm happier... this time last year I was moving, and that was a pain in the ass. Thinner or fatter? I'm about the same, but shit is shifting around. And... I feel I'm richer. Friends, and my chosen family enrich my life more than money could.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of? Working out.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of? Eating, drinking, arguing.

20. How did you spend Christmas? Haha, Xmas Eve - At Lauren's playing Jenga and watching Elf. Xmas Day - Painting a house. Random, I know. Xmas Day Eve - on my couch with cramps, some sparkling apple cider and a pizza, surrounded by my dogs.

21. Best Concert of 2007? Tori Amos, Paramount.

22. Did you fall in love in 2007? I'm still in love. :)

23. How many one-night stands? Ick, none.

24. What was your favorite TV program? By far... Survivor.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? I dont hate people but I strongly dislike a few.

26. What was the best book you read? Lovely Bones was good... Goodnight Nobody... I'm sure there are more.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery? Blue Scholars, Camille Bloom... OMG Pela. I'm addicted to Pela...

28. What did you want and get? I wanted to repaint our bedroom and I did. I really wanted and iPOD and got that too.

29. What did you want and not get? A new couch... soon.

30. What was your favorite film of this year? The Departed, Superbad, Knocked Up.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I turned 24, and we went to Vancouver, BC. Yay!!!

32.What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Camping more, a week undisturbed at the cabin, a raise. LOL

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007? Fleece, fleece and more fleece.

34. What kept you sane? Jenny, my dogs, my friends... mostly music. I can zone out when I'm losing it.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? I don't know if I'd say I fancy her, but I'm addicted to Britney Spears and her chaos.

36. What political issue stirred you the most? OMG all the finger pointing going on in our current administration, and the faux "change" the next set of candidates are proposing. Its all about the warm & fuzzy bullshit.

37. Who did you miss? My dad's parents, I was being a lazy bastard about keeping in touch.

38. Who was the best new person you met? Kelly and Mark, by far. My not to forget Susan & Roger, Joann Mountain, my new co-workers. And re-meeting/connecting with Melissa :)
