Oily Poop

So, I was researching "diet pills" today. God, I miss Ephedra... it was simple, pick up anything, and it was in there. Now that they've taken it off the market you have to go fishing around for "natural" or "herbal" versions. Suck. In my quest for a magical weight loss pill, I've run across a few really amusing websites, and some really scarry side effects of one of the "Top Selling" weight loss pills on the market today.

I'm talking about the new Anti-Obesity wonder drug, Alli (better known as a straight shot of Orlistat). Some of the features and benefits of the pill is 30% less fat absorbed into your body. So, if its not being absorbed, where is it going to go you ask? Well, I've got the answer...Right out your pooper!

The major side effect of the pill is oily poop, and increased flatulance. Oh man... sign me up. Rather, sign my co-workers up to be miserable, stuck in an office with an uncontrollable farter. I found alot of the information on Wikipedia (I love that site), and the part that stood out the most, in all it's horrific splendor was this... "Until you have a sense of any treatment effects, it's probably a smart idea to wear dark pants, and bring a change of clothes with you to work." (Linked to the post for your reading enjoyment) SICK!!!!!!!!! Who in their right mind would voluntarily take a pill that would simulate IBS and Crohn's Disease... wow.

Thanks GlaxoSmithKline,

You have officially detered me from buying diet pills....shit. Ew, not litterally.
